When it comes to footwear I've been in the mood for comfortable and casual slip ons recently. I normally wear size 8. I have flat feet no arch at all so my foot flattens out a bit when I step down so the narrowness of the shoe plus the bit of stretch to it works really well. I'm also pleasantly surprised with the support and cushion. The shoe is super light but the insoles are nicely padded and give great support for a slip on, especially for someone who has no natural support.
My only warning is that they really are narrow so I would not recommend TOMS for someone with wide feet. Also just a note not a deal breaker the white edging of the shoes easily catch grass stains. Frances, Zappos Customer , May 20, This is my second pair of Toms.
I wore out my first pair, that's how much I loved them. They take awhile at least wears to meld to your particular foot shape and for the canvas to soften. By the time I threw out my first pair, the canvas had stretched to a full half-size larger than the shoe.
I ordered these in my normal shoe size and my regular Toms size - I learned from my previous pair that I would be comfortable ordering for the width of my feet rather than length. These didn't even last me 3 months before they started falling apart. This was not a shoe I wore daily, it was worn maybe twice a week, and in that short time the sole wore out and the seams are coming unravelled. My last pair lasted through much more regular wear but the new style with the insole and different sole material is junk.

To give you a better idea on sizing I interviewed a couple people at work to see what size Toms shoes they wear and what size do they normally wear with other brands. Also wears a size 11 in Toms.
